Every purchase from Freedom Hill Coffee Roasters contributes to the following 501c3 charities that are working tirelessly to serve our Veterans in crisis, end Veteran suicide and help Veterans find the peace and purpose after service they deserve.  Please read more below about the great work these organizations are up to and please consider keeping them in mind for your personal or organizational charitable giving plans.

Sisters, OR (Nationwide Outreach)

We proudly partner with Mission22 and their goal of bringing the veteran suicide rate to zero. They do this with three main programs: veteran treatment programs, memorials and national awareness. Mission22 provides treatment programs to veterans for Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury and other issues they might be facing.

Milledgeville, GA
Comfort Farms was founded by Army veteran Jon Jackson in 2014 as the first project of his non-profit Stag Vets, Inc. They currently prepare veterans and students for careers in sustainable food production that integrates economic profitability, environmental stewardship, and healing through the use of Agro-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and time-tested natural approaches.

The facility will also serve veterans in acute situations where time and help are of the essence. Featuring a short-term stay lodge that can provide rooms for up to two veterans or one family Comfort Farms is building the resources to offer shelter and therapy that allows veterans to regain strength and re-boot for everyday life and a fulfilling future.

Central Lake, MI
Freedom Hill Folk School is located in beautiful Northern Michigan on the farm where Freedom Hill Coffee Roasters was founded in 2020.  From traditional craft classes held in the 19th century barn that inspires Freedom Hill Coffee Roasters' logo, to fly fishing classes on the farm's Intermediate Lake frontage, Freedom Hill Folk School exists to preserve and teach traditional craft and a love of living.  All are welcome, 50-100% off scholarships available for Veterans and first responders. Our 501c3 charity is getting off the ground in 2021 with first classes being offered beginning Fall 2021.
