This is one of the finest coffees we have had the pleasure of roasting. This comes to us from Burundi in East Africa. Izuba, meaning "sun" in Kirundi, is situated close to Kibira National Park, and benefits from the region's favorable soil and climate. After the cherries are fermented for 48–72 hours, all residual water is drained, and the coffee is naturally processed, being left to sun dry on raised beds for 25–30 days.

Roasted to medium-light, the result is an exceptional coffee with notes of kiwi, pineapple, watermelon and wine. This is a complex cup with a delicate body and mellow acidity.
